What does rhythmic absorption look like? Nodding heads, shaking bodies, winking eyes and squeezing expressions: these jazz musicians ride the divide between conscious performance and far-away absorption. Their journeys are not heard, but seen, as this silent film follows the momentary drama of their bodies as they lead, follow and participate.
