Being Seen Seeing (experimental, 22 min.) 2023
Guided by a camera that is in a state of constant compulsive and self-conscious motion, Being Seen Seeing draws attention to the many tiny interactions that form the outward experience of existence, while also giving momentary insights into the complex negotiations that lie under the surface of the social. In this way a simple walk down the street becomes something more murky and complicated: a fragmented interweaving of innumerable back-stories, a cacophony of half-captured voices, and a self-aware catwalk that offers endless opportunities for interaction, but precious few for escape.
